Test two shapes of a paper bridge

Whenyou have clean scrap paper to reuse

Make two bridges from equal-size paper: one flat and one accordion-folded. Compare them using the same book gap and the same coins.

Steps
  1. Set two low book stacks about 20 cm apart on a table.
  2. Span the gap with each paper shape in turn; keep the gap fixed.
  3. Add coins one at a time and stop when each bridge touches the table. Compare what happened.

Start tiny

Make one fold.

SafetyUse low stacks and small coins; keep coins away from children and pets.
