You get on with people but mostly wait to be invited, and friendships drift when nobody makes the next plan. You'd like regular company without forcing it.

From

Waiting for invitations and watching friendships drift

To

Making plans, keeping up and helping a small circle stay together

What the cards have you do

  • Invite someone to a specific hangout with an activity, place, day and end time: far easier to accept than “we should catch up”.
  • Return to the same open gathering and greet familiar faces by name, so strangers get a chance to become regulars.
  • Listen without rushing to advice, and repair a rupture honestly once you're both calm: the parts that make friendships closer.
  • Try a bounded challenge: reopen one drifting friendship, or bring a new trio together twice.

About this deck

The printed edition of Build a Social Life: every card from the free library deck, printed front and back and ready to pin up.

The cards are the same as the free download. You are paying for the printing, the finish and the time it saves, and you are keeping the library free for everyone else.

In the box

  • Every card in the deck, printed front and back
  • Full-colour art on the front; action, cue, tiny start and source on the back
  • A QR code on each card that opens its full page
  • Foundation 8
  • Growth 6
  • Mastery 4
  • Challenge 4

How to use it

  1. Pick one Foundation card that fits your day and pin it where the moment happens.
  2. Do it each time the cue comes round. On bad days, do the tiny version.
  3. When it runs on its own, pin the next card. Climb a tier when you're ready.
  4. Or shuffle and draw one card each morning for variety.
  5. Take on a Challenge card when you want a stretch.

What's the difference between the free deck and the printed deck?

The cards are the same. The free deck is a download: open it in the print studio and print it at home or save it as a PDF. The printed edition is professionally printed, front and back, with each card's QR code, so it's ready to pin up the day it arrives.

Is the free deck really free?

Yes. Every card in the library is free to read, print and use. No account, no email, no trial. The printed decks pay for the library.

Can I buy a printed deck right now?

Not yet. The original boxed decks are sold out, and the printed editions of the library decks are being prepared. Join the waitlist on any deck and we'll email you once when it's ready to order.

How much does a printed deck cost?

The original boxed decks were $39.99 USD for 120 cards. Prices for the library editions will be on each deck's page before orders open, and the waitlist email will say what it costs.

Which deck should I start with?

Start with the change you want most right now, not the one you think you should want. Pick a life area on the decks page and read who each deck is for. If two fit, take the one with the smaller first step.

From the screen to the fridge

Put the card where the habit happens.

Every deck is free to download and print at home, then pin up: on the fridge, the mirror, beside the monitor. Or get the printed edition, ready to pin up the day it arrives.
