Map the work already there
WhenWhen you reopen an unfinished project.
Look at the existing work. Write three short labels for its main parts and mark which part is unfinished.
Why it works
There is ground beneath the weeds. Find the shape of what you already made.
Start tiny
Label one existing part.
What you’ll notice
You can point to what exists and what is still open.
When it slips
If the whole project is too large, map only the piece in front of you.
