Photograph foreground, subject and background

Whena scene has depth worth showing

Choose a scene with something near you, a main subject and a farther setting. Shift position until all three contribute without hiding the subject. Take a photograph and check their overlaps.

Make it easier
Use a doorway, a room object and the far wall.
Make it harder
Make two layers interact through a repeated shape.

Start tiny

Frame one foreground edge around the subject.

SafetyStay on safe permitted ground; stop moving before you frame.
