Straighten each knee with the thigh raised

Whenyou lie down for the leg part of your warm-up

Lie on your back, one leg resting long. Hold behind the other thigh with its knee bent. Slowly straighten and bend that knee until you feel mild back-of-thigh tension. Start with eight movements, then switch legs.

Make it easier
Keep the held thigh farther from your chest and straighten less.
Progression
Build toward 15 smooth movements, then gently explore more extension.

Start tiny

One easy straighten-and-bend per leg.

SafetyDo not force a straight knee. Stop for tingling, sharp pain or radiating symptoms.
