Imagine your wish, obstacle and response

Whenyou set aside time to prepare a meaningful step

Choose a feasible wish you can influence. Follow these four steps in order.

Steps
  1. Wish: “Send my work to someone whose judgment matters.”
  2. Outcome: imagine submitting it and why it matters.
  3. Obstacle: imagine getting stuck polishing again.
  4. Plan: “If I start polishing, then I will attach this version and send it.”

Start tiny

Start with the wish; return to finish all four steps.

When it slips

For an obstacle outside your control, adjust the goal.
