Tear up an old rule and act against it

Whenan old personal rule stops you taking a chosen step

Write the rule: “My work must be perfect before anyone sees it.” Read it aloud. Tear the paper, then take one action against the rule: send an unfinished draft to a willing reader. Keep the action within your chosen limits.

Start tiny

Write the rule and share one unfinished paragraph.

When it slips

If tearing paper feels pointless, cross out the rule and take the action.

SafetyUse a self-imposed rule, not a safety requirement or duty. Stop if the ritual becomes compulsory.
