Challenge

Make a six-view sketchbook

Whenyou choose a drawing project

Make a six-view sketchbook using your weekly still lifes.

Window
Six weeks; your usual weekly session.
Mission steps
  1. Fold two sheets into a booklet. Draw a familiar object in week one; mark one mismatch.
  2. Weeks two to five: draw a still life weekly, using the previous correction and noting the next.
  3. Week six: redraw the first object from a similar view. Compare pages; note one difference and one difficulty.
Finish
Six drawings, correction notes and a first/last comparison.
Adapt
Use four weekly pages if needed, repeating the first view last. No catch-up sessions.

Start tiny

Sketch the first object’s largest shape for one minute.

RISD Museum, Out of Line: Drawing Prompts. Read the source ↗ — documents repeated drawings of an object turned to new views. The six-session booklet and carry-forward correction are editorial adaptations, not a tested training programme.

Challenge: A bounded mission with an observable finish, supported by the practices you use.
