Sow the next lettuce patch in reserve space

Whenyour next locally suitable lettuce sowing date arrives

About two weeks after a sowing, use a reserved empty patch or second pot. Sow the same loose-leaf lettuce at packet depth and spacing into moist mix; label the date. Use GP-F09 until emergence. Re-sow a cleared patch only while light and season still suit lettuce.

Start tiny

Sow and label one short row.

When it slips

If the previous sowing is failing, fix its conditions before adding another. One successful pot is enough.

SafetyDo not crowd the first planting or keep sowing into unsuitable heat or an ending growing season.
