Growth

Loosely tie tomato growth to its stake

Whennew growth on your staked tomato needs support

Use a soft fabric tie to fasten the new stem loosely to its existing secure stake. Leave room for thickening. Check older ties as you work upward and loosen any that bite into the stem.

Start tiny

Fasten one loose tie.

SafetyUse only on a crop whose growth habit needs staking. Install the support at planting; do not force a bent stem or move a heavy pot alone.
